These Terms are governed by Swedish law and apply to all services provided by Kruvion AB.
In these Terms, “Kruvion”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kruvion AB. “Client”, “you” and “your” refer to the person or organisation purchasing the service.
Terms & Conditions.
-
Kruvion provides independent automotive buyer advisory and vehicle assessment services. Depending on the agreed engagement, the service may include remote vehicle review, documentation analysis, a physical assessment, diagnostic checks, seller communication, purchase-risk analysis and support during the buying decision.
The exact scope, price, location, timing and deliverables are confirmed in the booking confirmation or written quotation. Information shown on the website provides a general description only. The confirmed engagement determines what is included for the individual Client.
Kruvion acts solely as an independent advisor to the Client. Kruvion does not act as a vehicle seller, dealer, broker, repairer, insurer, financial adviser or legal adviser. Unless expressly agreed in writing, Kruvion does not negotiate or enter into agreements on the Client’s behalf.
Kruvion is an independent company and is not affiliated with, authorised by or acting on behalf of Koenigsegg Automotive AB, any other vehicle manufacturer, dealer, workshop or seller.
-
Our services are intended to help the Client make a better-informed purchase decision. They do not eliminate the risks involved in purchasing a used vehicle.
A physical vehicle assessment is normally visual, functional and diagnostic. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, it does not include:
Dismantling components or trim
Opening sealed systems
Destructive testing
Laboratory analysis
Repair work
Verification of every internal component
A guarantee of future reliability
A formal vehicle valuation
Legal, tax, finance or insurance advice
Confirmation of legal title, finance status or ownership rights
The assessment reflects the vehicle’s apparent condition and the information reasonably available at the time the service is performed.
Some defects may be intermittent, concealed, inaccessible or undetectable without dismantling, specialist testing or extended use. Kruvion cannot guarantee that every present or future defect will be identified.
Any estimate of repair needs, risk, value impact or future cost is an informed professional opinion, not a quotation or guarantee.
-
The Client must provide accurate and complete information reasonably required for the service. This may include the vehicle listing, VIN, seller details, maintenance records, photographs and other available documentation.
Kruvion may rely on information provided by the Client, seller, dealer, workshop, manufacturer, database provider or another third party. We do not guarantee that third-party information is complete, accurate or authentic unless verification is expressly included in the agreed service.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the seller or vehicle custodian has agreed to provide reasonable access to the vehicle.
Kruvion cannot guarantee:
Access to every area of the vehicle
Permission to carry out a road test
Permission to connect diagnostic equipment
Availability of a suitable lift or workshop
Access to manufacturer or service records
Cooperation from the seller, dealer or custodian
Any material restriction will be documented where relevant and may reduce the conclusions that can reasonably be drawn.
-
An enquiry does not create a binding agreement.
An agreement is formed when:
The scope and price have been confirmed in writing;
The Client has accepted the booking or quotation;
Any required payment has been received; and
Kruvion has confirmed the engagement in writing.
The booking confirmation, accepted quotation, relevant service description and these Terms together form the agreement.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a written, individually agreed quotation, the individually agreed terms take priority.
Kruvion may decline an enquiry before a binding agreement has been formed.
-
Consumer prices are stated in Swedish kronor and include Swedish VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
Prices for business clients may be stated excluding VAT.
Payment is normally required in advance unless invoice payment or another arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Travel, accommodation, transport, tolls and other external costs are included only where expressly stated. Any additional costs must be disclosed or agreed before they are charged.
For invoice payments, late-payment interest may be charged in accordance with the Swedish Interest Act.
Kruvion may suspend work if an agreed payment is overdue.
Obvious clerical or technical pricing errors may be corrected before the agreement is formed. After an agreement has been formed, its price may be changed only where permitted by law or agreed with the Client.
-
Kruvion will perform the agreed service with reasonable professional care and within the timeframe stated in the booking confirmation or quotation.
Any stated completion or delivery time is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a fixed deadline.
Reports, findings and advisory conclusions are normally delivered digitally. A consultation may also be included where stated in the service description.
The Client should review the delivered material promptly and raise any questions before completing the vehicle purchase whenever reasonably possible.
-
This section concerns Kruvion’s contractual cancellation policy. A consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal is covered separately in Section 8.
Remote services
The Client may cancel a Remote Advisory or another remote engagement before Kruvion begins the work.
Once research, document review, vehicle analysis, communication or other agreed work has started, Kruvion may retain or charge a reasonable amount corresponding to the work already performed and any non-refundable costs incurred.
Services involving a physical assessment
The Client may cancel or request rescheduling without a cancellation charge up to 48 hours before the agreed assessment time, provided that Kruvion has not already incurred non-refundable travel, accommodation or external costs.
For cancellation within 48 hours, Kruvion may charge a reasonable amount for:
Preparatory work already completed
Time reserved for the engagement
Coordination already performed
Non-refundable travel or accommodation
Travel already undertaken
Other direct costs reasonably incurred
Kruvion will take reasonable steps to limit avoidable costs.
Access failure
If the seller, dealer, workshop, vehicle custodian or Client withdraws access, denies agreed testing or materially changes the arrangements, Kruvion will attempt to agree a reasonable alternative.
If the service cannot be completed, Kruvion may charge for the proportion of work already performed and for reasonable, non-refundable costs already incurred. Any remaining prepaid amount will be refunded.
A new date may require a new travel or booking charge where additional costs are incurred.
-
This section applies only where the Client is a consumer and the agreement has been concluded at a distance or outside Kruvion’s business premises.
The Client normally has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days from the date the agreement was concluded, without giving a reason.
To use the right of withdrawal, the Client must send Kruvion a clear notice before the withdrawal period expires. The Client may use the withdrawal function or form provided on the website, the Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard withdrawal form, or contact Kruvion using the details at the beginning of these Terms.
Starting work during the withdrawal period
If the Client wants Kruvion to begin the service during the 14-day withdrawal period, the Client must expressly request this.
If the Client later exercises the right of withdrawal after work has begun, Kruvion may charge a reasonable and proportionate amount for the part of the service already performed, provided that the legal requirements for starting the service early have been met.
The charge will be based on the agreed service and the work actually completed. It is not automatically a fixed cancellation fee.
If the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal ends only where the Client:
Expressly requested that performance begin during the withdrawal period; and
Agreed that the right of withdrawal would end once the service had been fully performed.
Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Kruvion will refund the amount due without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer right.
-
Kruvion may cancel, postpone or modify an engagement where necessary because of illness, unsafe conditions, vehicle unavailability, denied access, travel disruption, equipment failure, conflicts of interest or other circumstances that make the service impractical or inappropriate.
If Kruvion cancels and cannot provide the agreed service, the Client may choose between:
A reasonable rescheduled date; or
A refund for the part of the service not performed.
Kruvion is not responsible for additional losses caused by rescheduling or cancellation except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
-
The Client remains solely responsible for deciding whether to:
Proceed with the vehicle
Withdraw from negotiations
Negotiate the price
Request further specialist investigation
Obtain a workshop quotation
Complete the purchase
Kruvion may recommend further investigation or advise against proceeding. The final purchase decision and the terms agreed with the seller remain the Client’s responsibility.
Kruvion is not a party to the vehicle sale and does not accept responsibility for the seller’s conduct, contractual obligations, representations or financial position.
No statement in a report or consultation constitutes a warranty from Kruvion regarding the vehicle.
-
Reports and other deliverables are prepared for the Client and for the specific vehicle and transaction identified in the engagement.
The Client may use and share the report as reasonably necessary for the relevant purchase, including with professional advisers, insurers, finance providers, workshops or the seller.
The report may not be:
Altered in a misleading manner
Presented as relating to another vehicle
Resold as a standalone product
Published publicly or used in marketing without written permission
Presented as a certificate, guarantee or manufacturer-approved document
A report should not be relied upon by a later buyer or another third party without Kruvion’s written agreement. Kruvion owes no duty to an unauthorised third party who relies on the report.
Kruvion retains ownership of its report structure, templates, methods, photographs, written material and other intellectual property. The Client retains ownership of material supplied by the Client.
-
If the Client believes that the service was not performed as agreed, the Client should contact Kruvion as soon as reasonably possible and provide:
The booking or invoice reference
A clear description of the issue
Relevant supporting material
The requested resolution
Kruvion will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable time.
Nothing in these Terms restricts a consumer’s mandatory right to complain or seek a remedy under applicable Swedish law.
-
Kruvion is responsible for direct loss caused by its breach of the agreement or negligence, subject to applicable law and the limitations in these Terms.
Kruvion is not responsible for loss caused by:
Incorrect, incomplete or misleading information supplied by the Client or a third party
Concealed or inaccessible defects
Restrictions imposed by the seller or vehicle custodian
Changes in the vehicle after the assessment
The Client proceeding contrary to Kruvion’s recommendation
A third party’s interpretation or misuse of a report
Market-value changes
The seller’s breach, fraud, insolvency or misconduct
Events outside Kruvion’s reasonable control
To the extent permitted by law, Kruvion is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of use or financing costs.
For business clients, Kruvion’s total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement, except in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or where liability cannot legally be limited.
For consumers, any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory Swedish law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
-
Kruvion processes personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law and the Kruvion Privacy Policy.
Personal data may be processed to:
Handle enquiries and bookings
Perform the agreed service
Communicate with the Client and relevant third parties
Process payments and maintain accounting records
Handle complaints and legal claims
Meet legal and regulatory obligations
Further information about the legal basis, retention periods, recipients and the Client’s data-protection rights is provided in the Privacy Policy.
Kruvion will treat non-public information received during an engagement with reasonable confidentiality. Information may be disclosed where necessary to perform the service, where authorized by the Client or where required by law.
-
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, government restrictions, widespread transport disruption, strikes, serious illness, telecommunications failure or failure of essential third-party systems.
The affected party must notify the other party within a reasonable time and take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the disruption.
This section does not affect any mandatory consumer right to terminate the agreement or receive a refund.
-
Kruvion may update these Terms from time to time.
The version applicable to an engagement is the version provided or made available when the agreement was concluded. Later changes do not apply retrospectively unless required by law or expressly agreed by both parties.
-
These Terms and the agreement are governed by Swedish law.
The Client should first contact Kruvion so that the parties can attempt to resolve the matter directly.
A consumer may also be entitled to submit a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes:
Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN)
Box 174
101 23 Stockholm
Sweden
www.arn.seKruvion will participate in an ARN process where the dispute falls within ARN’s competence.
A dispute may also be brought before a competent Swedish court in accordance with applicable procedural law.
For a Client domiciled in another country, any mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules applicable to that Client remain unaffected.
-
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
The invalid provision will be adjusted or interpreted only to the extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.
